Favorite Literature Class: Nope. I refuse to do this. I love all my classes too much to pick faves

Personal Statement: I think the bigger question here is what can’t be said about my time at MIT as a Lit student. I will say it was definitely a struggle at times being a humanities major amongst a bunch of engineers and computer scientists, but the literature department always made me feel welcomed. They made sure I always had a place to go and things to do with other humanities students. And honestly, I doubt I would have survived without that and my Friday hangouts with Daria. A lot of people are flabbergasted when they find out I was a single literature major here, but honestly I don’t think I could have done anything else and been happy with my choice.
