
James Andrew Nadeau is the Assistant Director for the Boston Women’s Film Festival and is the former Executive Director of Wicked Queer: Boston’s LGBTQ Film Festival. He has been involved in the film industry since 2000.
He has curated and overseen programming at the Documentary Fortnight Festival at MoMA, the Provincetown International Film Festival, the Rhode Island International Film Festival and at galleries, theatres, and museums throughout New England.
His films have screened internationally, most recently at the Sguardi Sonori Festival of Media and Time Based Art in Italy. He is currently a Technical Instructor in the Literature Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a graduate of SMFA/Tufts University and MIT with a focus on media studies and contemporary media art.
