Join us for a conversation between three Brazilian public intellectuals at the forefront of a movement that seeks to reconfigure the relationship between Afro-Brazilian terreiros and the academy. At this crossroads, they will discuss how to extend the ideas and practices that affirm Black life and thought within sites of resistance like the terreiro into hegemonic predominantly white spaces and institutions.
Event will include simultaneous translation to English.
